Our dogs come from a variety of circumstances including households that can no longer care for their needs, other rescues and shelters, and commercial breeding facilities.  As a foster-based rescue, our dogs get lots of love and attention from their foster families while they are awaiting adoption.  All of our pups are up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative, and are spayed or neutered*.  All adopted dogs will be provided a free visit voucher to Fido's Forest.  Foster families are Fear-Free certified and work with our adoptable dogs on basic cues training, leash walking skills, and potty training, though most dogs will need a refresher once they get to their new homes.  Puppy Culture protocols are in place for any young puppies that enter our program.  We place dogs with families in the northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Michigan area.

*Some young puppies may be placed on a spay or neuter contract.
